Together for South Yemen

A one-week charity initiative that was held on June 2015, where volunteers distributed food baskets for families affected by war. The aim of the project was to ease the siege on Yemeni families suffering from lack of basic necessities such as food, especially besieged families of Lahj and Abyan, and the displaced who used schools and hotels as homes for them. 20 young men and women volunteered for the initiative, benefiting 500 families of those affected by the war on Yemen.


Tomorrow Is Going to Be Beautiful ( Iqbal School Initiative in South Yemen )

It is a 15 days initiative launched in February 2015 at Iqbal School, Southern Yemen. The initiative sought to motivate and promote entrepreneurship and volunteerism among the Yemeni youth by integrating them into activities that benefit the community, such as decorating the school walls with meaningful drawings and positive slogans, and cleaning and planting the school garden, in addition to maintaining public facilities (schools, hospitals, streets) in Southern Yemen. The aim was to encourage the Yemeni youth to become involved in community service, in order to build their sense of responsibility and fill them with positivity, vitality, and benevolence. The number of beneficiaries reached 1200 students ranging from 1st graders to 11th graders
