I Will Be Fine
A project launched by LOYAC Aden in 2017 that focused on children’s psychological health. The focus was on Post-traumatic Stress Disorder in children under the Yemeni war, as post-war trauma symptoms include behavioral changes and psychological problems that complicate both the current and the future life of Yemeni children. LOYAC Aden’s aim was to offer emotional support and psychological treatment needed for the children, in order to repair the damages resulting from various war horrors engraved in their minds, and to hopefully build a healed generation for a better and peaceful tomorrow. The project consisted of two workshops (each of which is 5 days long), followed by an additional day with LOYAC volunteers to reinforce what's learned, which benefited 30 children in total.
