Every year the world celebrates World Environment Day on the 5th of June to address environmental issues and challenges. As this day is soon approaching, have you asked yourself what will you do differently to help preserve the environment?

In line with the New Kuwait Vision 2035 to transform Kuwait into an attractive global economic center by encouraging environmental activities, LOYAC sought to advocate awareness and action towards environmental restoration by offering “For a Green Kuwait” Program.

By participating in this environmental program, you will get the opportunity to:

• Visit a natural reserve.
• See how environmental activists strive to implement future afforestation plans in Kuwait.
• Identify the importance of vegetation cover for a healthy and balanced environment.

Program Objectives:

• Raise the youth community's awareness on how to consume and benefit from the limited resources in the country.
• Raise the youth community's awareness to the importance of tree-planting and its contribution to clearing the atmosphere, halting deforestation and dust-laden storms.
