After 7 months of trainings, it was time to celebrate the tremendous efforts and commitment of 60 students participating in LoYAC’s continuous development program supported by Morgan International’s partnership.
Committed to help youth by providing them with learning opportunities, LoYAC launched the continuous development program in November 2009. It aims to improve the young people skills in different aspects related to their needs: English and computer courses as well as soft skills, such as presentation skills and work etiquette.
Morgan International established a partnership with LoYAC for this program to encourage students to go beyond professional training and be involved in social corporate responsibility.
Professional trainers from Morgan were involved in the program to give the best of their experience and knowledge in work etiquette and presentations skills. As for the English and Computer courses, International House and AUC were supportive of the idea of helping youth who cannot afford the trainings’ fees and cooperated with us.
July 1st, 2010 marked the end of the four trainings but also a new beginning for all the participants to enter the work field with better skills. Certificates by LoYAC, Morgan International and International House/AUC we distributed to the attendees by LoYAC’s board member, Mrs. Carine Stephan, Morgan International’s CEO, Mr. Fadi Ghani, and one of International House instructors, Mr. Elias Najem. The certificates distribution was followed by a reception where the attendees had the opportunity to discuss their future.
LoYAC hopes that the Continuous development program is just the beginning for helping the youth acquiring new and better skills and trusts that companies like Morgan International will always support this cause.
